Well kiddies, it looks like Mary Zlotnick will be drawing her complaint out for a time while making the City spend more of our money. Let me know if you think Mary is being self serving in her fight for her good name. First, she goes to the police last year and after an examination of her complaint the police find nothinf wrong in the Accounts Dept. Then by having lunch almost every day with HR Joe, this move creates an immediate conflict of interest for her. Then after removing office materials from the department offices, it looks like she discussed the files with her HR lunch friend and the newspapers. My sources that are in the proceedings tell me Mary sunk herself during not only early testimony but also when she was on the stand. This has all the signs of a shaft that Zlotnick is trying to give John Franck and staff, when she has no idea how assessments work in the City,
Speaking of Zlotnick, she was given a reference by her good friend, none other than Deputy Mayor Shauna Sutton. This in itself should explain why there is turmoil in the department. It appears Sutton doesn’t do anything unless she wants to drag someone down. The Mayor has had a far away look in his eyes for a while, I hope this doesn’t mean he’s off the Pepsi and is moving up into adult beverages.
How one can look at the past and current Council meetings and honestly say they don’t want a professional in the building has to be blind and deaf.
We even have an acidic blogger, whose motto is,’if we find a story with no merit, we’ll make one up.

1. Sutton gave a reference to someone that turned out to be a bad employee and is going to cost the city thousands. Not the first time that has happened.
ReplyDelete2. Or Sutton got a job for her friend Mary and then pushed her to file the complaints to embarrass Frank and is going to cost the city thousands.
3. Or Mary is a plant by the Sutton to embarrass Frank. Frank was going to run against Sutton or Johnson for mayor.
Any way you slice it Mary was used by Sutton and is going to get hurt. Frank is caught in a trap and Sutton continues her Machiavellian ways at any cost.
Now, you summed it up in a nutshell. There are those that can't believe what's going on in the Mayor's office and it's so bad it's bubbling over to the Council meetings. It makes one want to drink more!
DeleteStill you condone John Franck who has an investigation going on for inproprieties in his department. Zlotnik is nothing. She was a pawn used by Franck like many others he has used. You are so blinded just to discredit the mayor that you think it is ok to coverup. She was a Franck friend who he hired because they were in cohoots to overtake the democratic committee. Once he used her up and she was left out in the cold she made this play. Franck is getting rid of her because she didn't play the game his way. He is doing it with commissioner Madigan right now. He'll use her and then feed her to the wolves. He did it with Ken Ivins too. While he was on the council he hired Ivins to do work for his West & Co. and pulled his strings the whole time he was on the council. Once he got voted out he was let go by Franck. These are facts. Foil it if you don't believe it. How ironic that once the Mayor appointed Ivins to the Housing Authority board he was re hired by Franck. Coincidence? I don't thing so.
ReplyDeleteThere is no indication that there is any investigation going on in Franck's department, the AG won't confirm and until they do one has to believe there is none. Zlotnick tried to get the Police in to investigate and they found nothing wrong. She then went to the press and surprise, they don't investigate, they listen to a broken down old blogger with a grudge against any human being except Scott Johnson.
DeleteIf you didn't listen or were not at the last Council meeting, take a look on line or TV, Franck vindicated his staff and office from wrong doing with FACTS. Facts that anyone is invited to inspect the documents to see for themselves there is no hanky panky going on in the office. Now some people (it looks you are one of them) will never believe anything based on FACTS, only on what the monkey or Mary Zlotnick says, and you would be wise to keep an open mind especially after 2 days in court with testimony (even her own) are going against her, but we'll see. I am not for Franck but yes the Mayor and Sutton are known and have been known to out and out publish falsehoods and manipulate the truth in trying to discredit a person. An example of this is when Johnson ran against Wilkes last year. Johnson put a flyer out 4 days prior to the election about how Wilkes cost his Company 96 million dollars and could not control the City etc. After the election, which was a close one, it was reported by several news outlets that Johnson's information piece was false and knowingly along with Shauna Sutton timed the piece to go out at the date it did. Hiring Ivins, firing Ivins, rehiring Ivins is a little crazy. It doesn't say much for Ivins wanting to be used this way and Ivins is not anyone's pawn. Keep your conspiracy theories alive but that's just what they are at this point.

I seen the Franck side show and I just found it to be insincere with very few facts. He loves to grandstand and is a master of twisting the truth. There are people who no matter what the truth is (you seem to be one of them) will believe even a dirtbag like franck just because you hate the Mayor so much. I am no fan of the Mayor or his deputy but to link Zlotnik to them to cover Franck's ass?
ReplyDeleteIf people think I am a Franck supporter you are a little daffy. There is no proof that anything illegal has been done and it's you who want to keep the smear campaign alive. If you saw the explaination and didn't see or hear any facts you should get together with John Tighe and sing kumbaya together because it is the two of you and his band of 3 or 4 that really want to keep this smear alive. My feelings for the Mayor are not of hate but because I feel he has been the worst Mayor since Ken Klotz.
DeleteFranck admitted there were mistakes on the assessments weeks ago but chose to blame Steven Towne. That is fact. The AG has looked into his department since nov 2011 and we were told nothing about it. If Franck was transparent he should have not hid that fact from us. Even if there is nothing illegal it sure seems suspicious that he didn't want anyone to know what he was up to. His ethics are of question here. The city does have a code of ethics don't they? You seem to spin things like that tyge guy you mention all the time. I really don't give a hoot about him either. You insist on blaming him, The Mayor or whoever doesn't suit your opinion.
