The Captain is asking: If you like the blog can you pass it around to your friends i.e. mailing lists and facebook friends and ask them to do the same. The more the merrier.

Thank you for the comment 12:53. One person's hack job is another's factual information about someone who has had no truthful stories written about him either in the papers or other blogs. In the last 5 years he has brought City Hall to such a bad work place with his constant lawsuits, open contracts (that he was supposed to settle because he is a top notch lawyer) and shutting out Saratogian’s of their basic right to get public information. Again, you call it a hack job; I call it bringing Johnson to justice. The Captain also heard that a State official in the Treasurer's office during a round table discussion mentioned Saratoga Springs as a very nice looking City with deep rooted problems that will be haunting us in the near future.
Little Scotty is a local who wants to be loved by all. Unfortunately he is on his way out the door and doesn't even know it. So is John Franck and Michelle Madigan. Mathesen is already gone which leaves us with Skippy. Who would have thought. This city is dying a slow death and Charter Change may be just the ticket. Scotty will most certainly appoint another charter commission just to stick it to everyone.
Anon:1:32, I think you are mostly right on with one exception. I feel Michele has done a superb job. She is the only Finance Commissioner that has put online under transparency a look back to show what each department took in as far as revenues and expenses and you can even see it by line items and seems to be updating her department. I personally feel that she has one of the best Deputy Commissioners the City has had in many years. Try getting some information out of the Mayors department and any department under his control, you would not think we live in America. Now this is my opinion and I thank you for voicing yours.
Madigan is being used by Franck to do some of his dirty work. This comes down from McTygue and on to Franck who has suckered Madigan into his scamming of the city. She has jumped on the Housing Authority and Franck has taken a back seat. Why is this? Is it because they have hit a dead end and Franck is passing the buck? Franck is trying to get that Director job for his buddy Billy McT and if it doesn't workout then Madigan will take the fall!
